 |
|
Our
school for teaching Apprentices associated with the United Brotherhood
of Carpenters was established in 1945 through the U.S. Department of Labor.
Since then we have continued to grow and improve. our present site has
seen many additions, so that today's apprentices have the opportunity to
learn in a 60,000 sq. ft. building. It offers seven designated shops, allowing
hands-on instruction in general carpentry, interior systems, cabinetmaking,
floorlaying, millwrighting, pile driving, lathing and welding. |
|
There are four classrooms for blueprint, math, and layout & theory
courses. Plus a state of the art computer learning center for instruction
in introduction to computers, Word®, Excel®, AutoCAD, planning
& scheduling, and more.
The Center
also offers two rooms for taking breaks and meals, and ample parking on
the premises with sufficient on-street parking. |
